Back to School Session 2020-21

Dear Parents,
With the Almighty’s grace, WHSS is ready to open its gates for students as the physical classes will resume from Monday, 1st February’ 2021 for Pri-Primary till VII. In order to ensure a clean and safe environment, our students must follow the following SOPs as devised by the government.

 Students must wear a face mask within the school premises

Students must maintain social distancing by staying 1 metre apart.

Students must have their personal pocket sanitizer which must be frequently used. 

Sharing of stationery or personal belongings is prohibited.. 

Students must bring a healthy lunch from home. The students will have recess while seated in the classroom.

In case the student feels sick, he/she must immediately inform the teacher.

WHSS has taken the following preventative measures to ensure students are provided a safe learning environment.

Thermal Testing
Students must have their temperatures tested at the gate before entering the school premises.

Sanitizing Gate
Students will then walk through a sanitizing gate .

Disinfection
The campus will be weekly disinfected.

Restriction of outdoor interaction
No assemblies or sports classes will be conducted until further notice.

Kindly note WHSS will be following revised school timings until further notice.

Instructions for parents/guardians 

 

  1. Parents or van drivers who come to drop the students to school, must wait until the child has had his thermal test. In case, the student is found to have a high temperature, he/she will be sent back.

  2. At the dispersal time, only one parent or van driver will be allowed to enter with the mask on. The parent or driver must then show the student’s ID card to the staff member for safe collection of the student.

  3. If the student exhibits symptoms of fever, cough or flu, he/she must stay at home until he/she recovers.

  4. If any member of the student’s family who has close interactions with the child, is tested COVID positive, the student must then stay at home until the patient recovers.

  5. Parents/guardians must assure each morning that the student is in good health, has had breakfast and is carrying the mandatory materials such as face mask, lunch, water bottle, pocket sanitizer and stationery.
